Job Summary

Accounting Manager for Financial Reporting and Consolidations responsible for the monthly close, consolidation processes, and timely preparation of quarterly and annual financial filings including SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K for a leading organization. Leads consolidation of entities, handles one-time transactions (acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, intercompany activity), maintains post-closing adjustments, and prepares financial statements in conformity with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Analyzes sector performance for internal/external reporting, assists with MD&A drafting/review, leads fluctuation analyses of major income statement and balance sheet accounts, supports SEC filings, maintains supporting work papers, interacts with cross-functional teams to facilitate close and reporting cycles, ensures internal controls compliance, supports external auditors, maintains process documentation, and identifies opportunities to streamline close processes. Requires CPA, extensive accounting/financial reporting experience, and strong technical knowledge of US GAAP/SEC rules; experience with Oracle HFM/FCCS, Oracle Cloud EPM Planning, Deltek Costpoint, and IBM Cognos is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 15+ years of related experience or Master's degree plus 13+ years of related experience
  • Minimum 8 years accounting and financial reporting experience
  • 3 years experience in public accounting firm on public company audits
  • CPA / Certified Public Accountant
  • Proficiency in Oracle HFM and/or Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
  • Oracle Cloud EPM Planning, Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos systems experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Previous U.S. government contractor experience preferred
