Lead a control room team responding swiftly to safeguard the electric power grid for 45 million people across 15 states. Collaborate with research and development teams and customers to influence policy and drive process improvements as data centers, solar, and battery resources expand. Transform training and workforce development by partnering with Human Resources to build trust and drive the department's operating plan. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 12 years of equivalent experience, plus 8+ years in transmission operations or relay system protection. Base salary ranges from $165,000 to $175,000 annually with an optional bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 12 years of equivalent technical experience
- 8+ years of relevant technical experience
- ISO/RTO or energy industry expertise in transmission operations
- ISO/RTO or energy industry expertise in relay system protection
- ISO/RTO or energy industry expertise in substation design/maintenance
