Job Summary

Support the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance in delivering compliance activities and framework uplift across Mercer Super. Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related policies while providing advice, review, and challenge to Line 1 Risk & Controls teams and business stakeholders. Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents and contribute to internal and external reporting, including obligations and conflicts management. Work collaboratively across Mercer Super and the Marsh Pacific compliance function during a significant transformation of the risk management framework. This role requires a hybrid schedule of at least three days in the office and is based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a compliance, risk or legal support role within financial services
  • Understanding of governance, risk and compliance practices within a regulated environment
  • Ability to assess regulatory obligations and provide practical advice to stakeholders
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organisation
  • Experience in superannuation compliance and familiarity with regulatory obligations relevant to a superannuation fund
  • Experience maintaining an obligations library and supporting obligation owners to manage and assess their compliance arrangements
  • Tertiary qualifications in law or a business-related discipline
  • Appropriate approval to work in Australia
  • Completion of a criminal & bankruptcy check prior to commencement of employment
  • Hybrid work arrangement with at least three days per week in the office
