Job Summary
Oversee execution of regulatory compliance processes and controls for Mastercard's Asia Pacific region, coordinating with regional teams to support core business units. Strengthen compliance infrastructure by developing, documenting, and implementing appropriate controls while reviewing new projects to ensure adherence to policies. Maintain inventories of reporting obligations and produce regular management information, acting as a subject matter expert for cross-functional queries. Coordinate submissions to regulatory authorities, conduct gap analyses of internal controls, and recommend remedial actions. Provide continuous, round-the-clock coverage via a follow-the-sun model to monitor global incidents and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- At least 8 - 10 years' prior qualified experience in Second Line of Defense (2LOD) in executing regulatory compliance programs, including design, implementation and oversight of controls
- Must demonstrate a proactive, time sensitive, results driven approach in carrying out all responsibilities
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and continuously develop
- Experience of global organizations and a track record that includes operating effectively within a diverse multicultural organization with the highest standards of personal integrity
- Self-starter who is flexible and able to work in a matrixed environment
- Ability to juggle competing demands and adapt to evolving priorities a must
- Requires a high degree of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all aspects of work
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
