Job Summary
Remote managerial role focusing on regulatory strategy and rate filings for a water/wastewater utility. Responsibilities include planning and presenting rate cases, preparing testimony and exhibits, coordinating with regulators, and leading a multi-disciplinary team including consultants and attorneys. Requires leadership, deep knowledge of utility ratemaking and regulatory finance, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple filings and deadlines. Senior-level experience in rate setting, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to translate complex financial data into persuasive regulatory arguments. Travel to regulatory proceedings and utility offices is expected.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
- 10+ years utility accounting or other relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in rate setting regulatory procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication, project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to travel to participate in regulatory proceedings, visit utility offices, and attend conferences
