Job Summary
Manager, Registered Plans at Questrade Financial Group leads and inspires RSP staff to ensure accurate and efficient processing across RRSP, RIF, RESP, TFSA, LIF, LIRA, LRSP and FHSA; collaborates with supervisory and management groups to coordinate activities, monitors service quality, collects and reports metrics, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters internal/external relationships. The role designs and implements processes and procedures, provides coaching and growth opportunities for direct reports, drives process improvement through technology, develops KPIs and productivity reports, manages staffing and workflow planning for the Brokerage Operations team, and supports special projects while maintaining a focus on innovation and client outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry
- Experience with RESP reporting
- Experience with processing and tax filing for all Registered plans
- Basic Accounting experience (as an asset)
- Knowledge of Google Workspace
- Proven analytical and reconciliation skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client orientation
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work confidentially, discretely and independently in a fast paced environment
- Canadian financial and/or brokerage knowledge
- Completion of the CSC, CPH and related courses (as an asset)
- Experience with Broadridge BPS (as a preference)
