Job Summary
Manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for assigned intensive care unit(s). Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while conducting hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff. Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery by developing policies that guarantee efficient and effective health service operations. Monitor and adhere to budget guidelines by approving expenditures and purchasing actions. Perform other duties as assigned in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years of RN experience with leadership responsibility, and valid state licensure (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin) plus BLS certification. Day shift, 40 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility OR one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of leadership experience
