Job Summary
Regional Manager – Operations & Strategy role focused on leading strategic planning and execution for KPJ Healthcare Berhad across Malaysia and the broader regional footprint. Responsibilities include translating corporate strategies into hospital-level action plans, tracking progress against 5-year SPs, monitoring performance indicators (BOR, ALOS, revenue, EBITDA/PAT), developing regional dashboards, conducting deep-dive analyses, driving alignment of operational standards across hospitals, supporting development of new service lines and Centers of Excellence, overseeing regional initiatives and transformation programmes, performing financial and ROI analyses for investments, coordinating with hospital CEOs and HQ functions, preparing reports and briefing materials for RCEO, and facilitating continuous improvement through ad-hoc strategic projects. Requires strong analytical, financial acumen, project management, stakeholder collaboration, and willingness to travel within the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or related field
- Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in hospital operations, strategy, business planning, or consulting
- Experience in healthcare industry is preferred
- Strong exposure to data analysis, financial analysis, and performance management
- Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination
- Strategic & Analytical
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analytics tools (Power BI)
