Job Summary
Regional Manager to oversee OSP and Field Operations personnel in Pasco, WA. This exempt, full-time role is responsible for managing field resources, supervising Outside Plant and Field Operations staff, coordinating infrastructure growth, ensuring preparedness for service provisioning, supporting related engineering projects, tracking progress on plant growth, and handling on-call rotation. The position requires leadership in health and safety, scheduling, approving time/expense reports, and vendor-management duties, including reviewing purchase orders. Preferred education includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; five years of experience in field operations management within telecommunications or technology; and proven ability to manage budgets, P&L, and a geographically dispersed team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations management, preferably in telecommunications or technology
- Proven track record of managing a geographically dispersed team
- Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and processes
- Experience in managing budgets and P&L responsibility
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry and technologies preferred
