Job Summary
Manager, Regional Business Optimization & Customer Implementation for Europe oversees customer onboarding projects from contract award through go-live across DP World’s European freight forwarding services. Responsibilities include executing detailed implementation plans, coordinating with operations, IT, commercial, and GSC to deliver customer requirements, supporting system integration activities (EDI/API), testing and validation, documenting SOPs and process flows, monitoring timelines and milestones, providing end-of-project documentation, and driving continuous improvement and digitization initiatives. The role also involves training DP World branches, customers, and suppliers on project-related systems and processes, ensuring operational teams are prepared to manage accounts post go-live. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4–7 years of logistics or supply chain experience with exposure to customer implementation or project execution, strong project management and documentation skills, proficiency with EDI/API integration, and English fluency (additional European languages are a plus). The position can be based in Germany (Duisburg), Czech Republic, Netherlands, or Hungary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Experience in managing projects or customer accounts, ideally within an international logistics environment
- Familiarity with EDI and API integration standards and supply chain visibility tools
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
