Job Summary
Manager Region Health & Safety responsible for leading and executing health & safety and compliance objectives across the Western US Territory, with remote work when not traveling and travel at least 50% of the time. Develop regional safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, state/local regs), implement EHS systems, support training (PIT, ergonomics, behavior-based safety, injury reporting), conduct incident investigations and root-cause analyses, use data to demonstrate improvements, manage relationships with customers and platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce), and mentor regional Health & Safety resources while collaborating with Operations, HR, Legal, and Transportation.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Health & Safety management with a Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in Health & Safety management with no Bachelor's degree
- Experience working for a large multi-site employer - dispersed workforce business a plus
- Experience developing and managing health and safety programs
- High School or GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Preferred
