Manager, Recycling Materials Marketing and Recovery - Remote

Job Summary
Manage commodity marketing agreements and direct contracts with secondary processors, ensuring efficient material flow from preconditioning facilities to end-markets. Track yields and recovery performance, validate facility data, and reconcile volumes and revenues against contractual and regulatory expectations. Act as the primary liaison between operations, finance, audit, and service providers to resolve daily issues and optimize revenue through new market development. Develop monthly and quarterly reports on market performance, partner outcomes, and yield trends. This full-time, remote role requires a valid driver's license, flexibility for field work and uneven workloads, and a background in commodity marketing or recycling supply chains.
Required Qualifications
- Residency in Canada
- 5+ years of experience in commodity marketing, recycling markets, or materials trading, with direct exposure to plastics, fiber, or metals markets
- Experience managing commercial contracts with processors, brokers, or end-markets
- Demonstrated experience tracking material flows, yields, and revenue performance within recycling or commodity supply chains
- A valid Driver's license

Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, environmental management, or related fields
- An equivalent combination of education, and experiences
- Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and the ability to communicate and apply AI technologies effectively within a business context
- Strong understanding of recycling commodity markets, pricing mechanisms, and end-market requirements
- Experience with data analysis, yield calculations, and performance reporting
- Ability to manage day-to-day operational issues across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with operations, finance, audit, and reporting teams
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and accountability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Self-starter with a high degree of motivation and ownership, able to operate independently and drive outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
