Job Summary
The Raw Materials and Ingredients Manager will lead the technical ownership and validation of ingredients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting ingredient trials, and managing supplier technical approval processes. The role demands a solid background in ingredient chemistry and at least 5 years of relevant management experience within beverage manufacturing. The ideal candidate will support operational teams in troubleshooting quality issues and pursue innovations in ingredient sourcing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Brewing Science, Food/Fermentation Science, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Biochemistry, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in raw materials, ingredients management, supplier quality, or beverage/CPG manufacturing
- Experience with cross‐functional technical problem solving
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ingredient chemistry, functionality, and process capability principles (Cp/Cpk, SPC)
- Proven experience in supplier qualification and risk management
- Advanced knowledge of beverage manufacturing processes and regulatory frameworks (TTB, FDA, state-level compliance)
- Skilled in interpreting analytical data, validating test methods, and collaborating with suppliers on continuous improvement
