Job Summary
Lead the execution and sustainment of R&D engineering applications (CAD, simulation, PLM, and related tools) for DePuy Synthes, overseeing a team of product owners/SMEs, partnering with R&D stakeholders, IT, and vendors to deliver integrated engineering solutions, drive the product roadmap, ensure data integrity and compliance, manage backlogs and Agile delivery, monitor system performance and user adoption, and manage budgets and KPIs in a regulated, healthcare-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in engineering applications, product management, or R&D technology roles
- Experience with CAD, simulation tools, PLM, or related systems
- Experience delivering technology solutions with business and IT stakeholders
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and backlog management
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and product development lifecycle
- Experience in regulated environments or supporting compliance-driven systems
- Proven ability to manage teams or lead cross-functional workstreams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with data integration and master data concepts
- Ability to balance technical depth with business process understanding
- Change management experience for user adoption
- Knowledge of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (preferred)
- Quality Assurance (QA) and design controls familiarity
- Vendor management and budgeting skills
