Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for digital water solutions. Lead a small, agile team of Firmware and Electrical Engineers in developing foundational platforms for Delta Faucet's digital future. Drive innovation in digital systems design and architecture while developing transformational roadmaps and standard processes for design, testing, and documentation. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. Stay current on emerging technologies to recommend new tools that improve the development process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degrees
- 10+ years of proven experience in new product development, R&D, sustaining or another relevant field
- Familiarity with standard product development tools, including DFMEA
- Experience managing code repository systems and application programming interfaces
- Extensive experience in design, development, testing, and implementation of embedded digital systems, including hardware, firmware, and software
- Strong understanding of communication protocols, both wired and wireless, and overall digital systems integration
- Hands-on self-starter with the ability to take initiative to maintain project schedules
- Previous managerial experience preferred
