Job Summary
Hybrid-allowed governance, risk, and quality leadership role at a major Canadian firm. Drive governance, proactive risk management and consistent quality across the organization; support Enabling Areas and senior leadership on quality and risk matters; monitor regulatory developments; oversee compliance and firmwide policies; escalate quality risk issues and drive timely interventions; develop reporting for senior management and governance bodies; and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and operations across internal and client-facing work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Regulatory, Risk Management and/or Compliance field
- Strong organization and process management skills: ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt to evolving priorities and ad hoc responsibilities
- Experience with preparing Board level reporting, including presentation materials and corresponding speaking notes
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust with internal leaders and external parties
- Familiarity with Canadian standards, industry norms, and regulatory requirements
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
