Job Summary
Manager Quality responsible for overseeing and driving product quality performance across the external manufacturing network. Acts as the primary quality representative across projects, supplier interactions, and issue resolution, balancing operational delivery with continuous improvement. Provides quality support for product development and market entry, manages supplier qualifications and audits, maintains the Approved Suppliers List, and travels to supplier sites as required. Leads investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change controls; manages complaints and non-conformances; reviews supplier change controls; develops KPIs to assess supplier performance and product quality; drives cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Hybrid working model with three days per week in the office in Basel, Switzerland.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in quality management within regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceuticals, medical devices, FMCG or similar)
- Proven track record managing external suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Experience leading investigations, deviations, CAPA and change control processes
- Strong understanding of quality systems and audit processes
- Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and project-based environments
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and proactively identifying and resolving risks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
