Job Summary
Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards and reliability expectations for finished products. Formulate quality control objectives and coordinate them with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Plan and promote training activities related to product quality and reliability. Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality to maintain customer relations. Comply with company safety rules and regulations while wearing proper safety equipment on plant grounds. Work extended hours as needed in potentially hot, cold, or dusty conditions, involving walking, sitting, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 4-10 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Capable to work extended hours as needed
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
- Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
