Job Summary
Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials into finished products. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place, while devising methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision and accuracy. Design and analyze inspection processes, conduct quality assurance tests, and perform statistical analysis to assess non-conforming products. Audit quality systems for deficiencies, ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards, and maintain compliant documentation. Specialize in areas such as design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of quality or manufacturing experience
- Master's Degree with 6 years of quality or manufacturing experience
- 3 or more years of experience leading personnel in a quality or manufacturing team environment
- Experience leading and/or managing union employees
- Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
- Experience working with Government agencies
- Experience with Quality Management System (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) certification process
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced with dispositioning hardware for quality related issues in a manufacturing facility
- Experienced with Material Review Board (MRB) process
- Experienced with electrical or mechanical design requirements and specifications
- Experienced in Quality and Mission Excellence applications
- Green/Black Belt Certified in Lean Six-sigma
- Experienced in Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis methods and techniques
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or equivalent tools for statistical analysis
- Experienced with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques
- Experienced with Quality Notifications, Production Orders and Purchase Orders
- Experienced working knowledge of inspection tools, methods and techniques used for hardware reviews, validation, and inspections
- Working experience of SAP, ISE, and CADSTAR
- Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management System and AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI)
