Job Summary
Lead teams in executing quality management activities to meet customer expectations by driving SOP compliance and overseeing QC inspection schedules. Coach and train QA/QC associates and factory partners on inspection protocols, good manufacturing practices, and root cause analysis for product safety and social compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders on product testing, investigate customer complaints, and escalate production issues to upper management and merchandising partners. Develop regular KPI reporting, manage vendor on-boarding, and champion performance management through goal setting and success planning.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year Diploma/degree in textile apparel, quality management, engineering or other disciplines
- Minimum 20 years working experience in garment field
- 5 years on a Manager, QA role
- Practical knowledge in garment manufacturing including production process, garment construction, raw materials, printing techniques, washing technology and children product safety SOP
- The candidate shall have overseas work experience
- overseas work experience, preferably in African region
- Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command in English speaking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in: English
Desired Qualifications
- preferably with 5 years on a Manager, QA role
- preferably in African region
- Good command in English speaking will be an advantage
