Job Summary
Lead and oversee plant purchasing activities including direct/indirect materials, Capex, and services; manage supplier base, negotiations, and localization efforts; ensure P2P processes, compliance, audits, and the use of purchasing tools and guidelines; provide leadership, training, and coaching to buyers; drive spend optimization, supplier performance, and global collaboration with overseas counterparts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management or Diploma in Engg
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic direct purchasing and indirect purchasing, imports of materials
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Purchasing or Materials Management with a preference for high-volume manufacturing industries.
