Manager - Public Relations

Lead all public relations, community engagement, and external stakeholder outreach for an Integrated Steel Plant with Direct Reduced Iron (DRI). Build and sustain relationships with local communities, regulators, government authorities, and media to support project development, regulatory approvals, and long-term operations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive PR and community engagement strategies; acting as primary interface with communities, authorities, and external stakeholders; leading media relations, crisis communication, and messaging; coordinating with Project Management, Engineering, Environment, and Operations teams across feasibility, permitting, construction, and operations; managing environmental compliance communications, social impact, and economic benefits; planning public consultations, town halls, and hearings; tracking public perception and media coverage; coordinating with legal, environmental, and technical teams for regulatory alignment; representing the organization at public forums, regulatory hearings, and industry conferences; preparing internal briefings and dashboards for senior leadership.
