Job Summary
Conduct proactive and reactive prospect research to build a robust donor pipeline, including relationship mapping, wealth screening, and custom modeling to prioritize prospects for fundraisers. Collect, synthesize, and analyze detailed fundraising data on donor capacity, affinity, and inclination to inform cultivation strategies and portfolio health assessments. Methodically identify new prospects using open-source resources and strategies in partnership with gift officers, while implementing and maintaining moves management best practices within the CRM. Serve as a thought partner to the individual giving, major gifts, and corporate partnerships teams to develop solicitation plans and ensure data accuracy across the donor lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of related prospect development and research experience
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and CRM database
- Working knowledge of and compliance with industry best practices, including a strong commitment to donor privacy; exercise discretion and uphold confidentiality
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to identify and work through challenges, underscored by strong judgment and emotional intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multi-step, detail-oriented projects in a fluid environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to high-level audiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
