Job Summary
Manager Project Management 2 in Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems leading STRIKE Manufacturing Engineering; responsible for monitoring performance, schedule, and cost, coordinating staffing and tools (Capex, Direct/Indirect purchases), and driving initiatives to improve productivity and client satisfaction. Leads development of monitoring mechanisms, participates in executive-level communications and reviews, and facilitates a broad range of leadership meetings. Requires strong leadership, communications, problem-solving, and knowledge of program life cycles, manufacturing engineering capabilities, scheduling techniques, and compliance. Offers flexible 4/10 schedule with Fridays off and relocation assistance; location Palmdale, CA; DoD clearance required (and ability to obtain PAR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Master’s Degree in a related field
- 5 years of Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and/or Project Management experience (or 3 years with Master’s Degree)
- 2 years of project management or leadership experience for projects from start to implementation
- Active DoD clearance AND ability to obtain PAR within a reasonable period
