Job Summary
Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and design release areas by reviewing project status, budgets, and schedules while preparing status reports. Assess project issues to develop resolutions meeting productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Coordinate with functional teams to implement solutions, monitor outcomes, and order materials for on-time delivery. Provide guidance to shop floor technicians and maintain cost and schedule analysis charts. Coach and mentor project managers through performance reviews and skills development. Drive strategic initiatives to improve program cost and schedule performance, ensuring milestones and goals are achieved. Support 4/10 shifts Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm with occasional weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Project Management related experience
- OR a Master's Degree with 3 years' of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Project Management related experience
- 2 years of proven experience leading teams and/or projects
- Experience Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
- Ability to Travel 25% domestically to support business need
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Program access within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business
- DoD Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- 2 years of shop floor operations support experience
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
