Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of Project Managers to deliver enterprise technology initiatives, providing senior-level oversight to ensure delivery aligns with the Vancity Delivery Framework and PMO governance standards. Partner with business and technology leaders to drive consistent, high-quality delivery across the portfolio; coach and develop project managers across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality; ensure on-time, on-budget, and within-scope delivery; build trusted relationships with sponsors and senior leaders to manage expectations; monitor delivery metrics to improve predictability and time to market; foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture. Requirements include a university degree or equivalent, 7+ years in project delivery, 3+ years leading people, experience with PMO and Agile environments, and PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2 or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe).
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Technology, or related field or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in project delivery including managing technology or enterprise initiatives
- 3+ years of people-leadership experience
- Experience within PMO governance frameworks and Agile delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and executives
- Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 or Agile (CSM, SAFe)
