Job Summary
Manage the APN-241 Program area from inception through contract closeout, overseeing repairs, spares, production, and DMS activities. Drive cost, schedule, and technical performance while building collaborative relationships with functional areas and external customers. Develop proposals, coordinate work statements, and negotiate contract changes to secure business and expand product lines. Lead risk management, monitor delivery metrics, and direct technical and administrative teams to achieve financial targets. Serve as the primary customer contact for program reviews and requirements discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of related experience
- Master's degree and 8 years of related experience
- 14 years of related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
- 12 years of related experience with Associate's Degree
- Business Acumen (Experience in running P&L business)
- Experience with Repairs, Spares, DMS resolution, product modification and Production
- Demonstrated experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC)
- Demonstrated experience with program labor, Material and subcontract forecasting
- Program recovery experience
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Experience coordinating among cross-functional teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Exceptional external customer relationship experience
- Ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels including senior executives
- Ability to define proposal strategy, participate in proposal teams, analyze and shape RFPs, produce and deliver winning proposals
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- DoD sustainment background/understanding
- Experienced in generating DoD cost proposals
- Experience with successful program startup
- Proficient with Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Experience in leading a diverse team that leads to a successful outcome
- Experience with Return to Green and Root Cause Corrective Action
- Successfully demonstrated balancing customer, employee, and shareholder objectives
- The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance
- The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts
- The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities
