Job Summary

Lead a cross-functional Cruise Missile Design focused Supplier Management Team responsible for planning and executing supplier scope in alignment with SLCM-N program objectives for cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality. Direct all phases of major supplier efforts from inception through completion, including baseline definition, subcontract planning, execution, and change control within the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction phase. Establish, monitor, and maintain technical and programmatic performance baselines for key subcontracts, assess execution status against plan, and drive timely corrective actions. Own and execute systematic Risk and Opportunity Management for supplier scope, identifying, analyzing, handling, and communicating risks throughout the subcontract life cycle. Serve as primary program interface for assigned suppliers, ensuring disciplined, timely, and transparent communication and issue resolution across internal stakeholders and supplier counterparts. Perform Control Account Manager responsibilities for supplier-related control accounts, including development and maintenance of budgets, Earned Value Management performance, IPMDAR metrics, variance analysis, and forecasting. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience
  • Masters degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • US Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance
  • Special Access Program (SAP) approval
  • Demonstrated experience managing supplier or subcontract scope
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience with IPMDAR analysis
  • Experience with performance metrics
  • Experience with variance analysis
  • Experience with forecasting

Desired Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 3 years of formal lead and/or management experience leading projects or teams
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in support of U.S. Government contracts
  • Experience managing large supplier portfolios
  • 1+ years of direct subcontract management experience
  • Experience overseeing major suppliers with multiple deliverables
  • Experience with performance management
  • Experience with issue resolution
  • Experience managing a program effort or major subcontract during technology maturation, development, or risk-reduction phases
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • PMP certification
  • CAM certification
  • Advanced degree
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Lean tools
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Agile tools
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Six Sigma tools
  • Proven ability to develop and lead programmatic battle rhythm
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external customers and suppliers
