Job Summary
The Manager, Professional Services – Travel Systems is responsible for leading a team of consultants who activate, configure, and optimize Emburse solutions for travel-focused clients. This role combines deep travel industry expertise with strong people leadership and operational management, driving strategic execution of travel implementations, ensuring alignment with customer travel policies and system integrations, and overseeing delivery excellence across configurations. Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, defining departmental goals, providing oversight of travel software implementations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years leading direct reports with a focus on coaching, development, and constructive feedback
- 4+ years of PM experience within a fast-paced technology or software implementation environment
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Emburse products or equivalent enterprise platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport (Apollo, Galileo, Worldspan)
- Deep understanding of PNR structure, ticketing, exchanges, TMC logic, and booking/rebooking workflows
- Experience aligning travel booking data for API integrations and familiarity with platforms like Magna Tech
- Ability to manage configurations that enforce corporate travel policies and optimize client savings
- Strong ability to interpret team performance data and complex system-level travel data
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial terminology, and CRM/database-driven workflow tools
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and virtual presentation skills for a customer-facing environment
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities while embodying and instilling Emburse core values
