Manager Production Support

Job Summary
Lead the Production Support group within Brisbane Base Maintenance to drive operational efficiency, ensure timely delivery of customer requirements, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance. Own production preparedness, resource alignment, and process improvements; partner with senior leaders and external suppliers, CAMO, and Qantas Engineering to embed a performance-based culture and continuous improvement. Spearhead KPI development, coordination across BBM, and delivery against CASA regulations and workplace safety standards; guide leadership across production support functions and contribute to the engineering transformation program.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years extensive leadership experience within aircraft maintenance environments
- 5 years of senior executive responsibility
- Strong background in production planning, resource management, and maintenance operations
- Deep knowledge of CASA regulations and experience in regulated heavy maintenance facilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead cultural and operational change within large, complex teams
- Proven ability to manage safety, compliance, industrial relations, and operational excellence
- Experience building stakeholder relationships and influencing outcomes at all levels of an organization
- Strong commercial acumen, project management skills, and understanding of Lean methodologies
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Management, or related disciplines
