Job Summary

Manager, Production leads end-to-end manufacturing operations across assigned areas and shifts, owning daily/weekly production plans, ensuring safety/compliance, and achieving output/yield/schedule targets. Leads production supervisors and operators, resolves real-time issues, maintains real-time production visibility, ensures line clearance and batch execution discipline, and drives KPI performance (throughput, downtime, adherence, RFT). Oversees shift handovers, safety, quality/compliance with cGMP standards, and cross-functional coordination with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. Responsible for staffing, training, performance management, and driving continuous improvement to reduce variability and increase throughput. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field, 5+ years pharma experience, 3+ years production-management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and solid knowledge of GMP/regulatory expectations. Also notes English proficiency requirements and that the company does not sponsor work visas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical, science or engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals
  • Minimum 3 years of production management experience required
  • Knowledge of all manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and batch execution
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP and regulatory expectations
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Skilled in working with all manufacturing quality personnel
  • Strong overall understanding of the generic pharmaceutical business
  • Ability to identify and develop a skilled workforce, including management development
  • Strong interpersonal; and communication skills
