Job Summary
Lead manufacturing and assembly operations for hygienic pumps and valves, ensuring on-time production while meeting quality, cost, and safety targets. Plan, coordinate, and monitor all production activities, providing functional and disciplinary leadership to teams through their respective team leaders. Manage workforce planning, employee qualification, and training, while promoting a strong safety- and quality-oriented culture. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, monitor key performance indicators, and represent the department during customer site visits. Maintain housekeeping, order, and cleanliness standards. Participate in operational and management reporting calls.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field
- Alternatively, a technical vocational qualification with further education as a Master Technician/Technician and relevant professional experience
- Several years of leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing control and assembly processes
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Analytical and business-oriented mindset
- Assertiveness and sound decision-making abilities
- Strong commitment to quality and accountability
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hygiene and/or pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations
