Job Summary
Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the Production department, including repair, fabrication, assembly, and FAA Part 145-related production activities. Plan, direct, and prioritize resources to meet customer commitments while overseeing work order assignment, labor planning, and material availability. Monitor performance using WIP schedules and quality trends to drive corrective action, and develop processes to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Ensure personnel are properly trained and qualified, lead supervisors and staff, and maintain accountability for equipment readiness and calibration. Coordinate with Inventory Control, Quality, and Engineering to ensure parts and technical support are available. Promote compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements, safety expectations, and quality management system procedures. Minimum seven years of experience in production or manufacturing required, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
