Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers to develop and execute supplier strategies for the Barracuda product line. Partner with engineering, program management, and production leadership to support strategic sourcing initiatives, localization, and cross-functional projects aimed at cost, quality, and delivery targets. Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers to establish competitive pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, and service levels. Drive process improvements, define KPIs, and collaborate across functions to optimize supply chain performance. Manage CAPEX during NPI, develop manufacturing BOMs, ensure component qualifications, and lead cost engineering activities to converge the total cost of ownership. Travel up to 20% and collaborate with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment specifically in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
- At least 5+ years experience in a leadership position.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
