Job Summary
Manager of Product Software Engineering to lead cross-functional teams building scalable, secure web applications using .NET, Angular, PHP, and SQL. Role combines hands-on technical guidance with strategic product engineering leadership, defining and executing engineering strategy, enforcing coding standards and best practices, overseeing architecture/design decisions, and driving end-to-end delivery with collaboration across product management, design, QA, and DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 12+ years of progressive software development experience with deep hands-on expertise in .NET, Angular, PHP, and SQL
- 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience, including at least 2 years leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design
- Experience building and maintaining secure, high-performance web applications
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web technologies
- Experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Exposure to application monitoring and performance tuning
- Product-driven or SaaS environment experience
