Job Summary
Manager, Product Management-Technical (PM-T) role focused on shaping Mastercard’s cloud platform for product families. Responsibilities include decomposing requirements into user stories, prioritizing the backlog, defining acceptance criteria, ensuring backlogs are well groomed, and identifying where new capabilities fit within the platform ecosystem. The PM-T will drive API strategy, collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX and business stakeholders, advocate for reusable building blocks, and surface commercialization opportunities to product development teams. The role emphasizes independent, data-driven decision making, agile delivery, effective communication to executives and peers, documentation clarity for engineering teams, and building trusted cross-functional partnerships. A BS/MBA in a related discipline is expected, with experience in cloud-native product development, platform-scale delivery, and payments knowledge considered a strong plus. Required Qualifications
- BS/MBA in related discipline
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies (scrum, Kanban)
- Experience defining and building cloud-native software products as a platform at scale
- Ability to define requirements and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Strong communication with executives, peers, and staff
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams
- Payments domain experience is a plus
- BS/MBA in related discipline
