Manager, Procurement Sourcing (Marketing Spend)

Job Summary
Develop and execute category strategies across all marketing spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and support a high-performing procurement function. Lead sourcing projects including RFPs, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating agreements, executing contracts, and managing supplier transitions. Represent the organization in supplier and industry partner interactions; identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish category priorities and long-term sourcing plans; build strong relationships with partners to align sourcing activities with organizational goals. Lead and develop team members, cross-train staff for continuity, and promote best practices. Develop and maintain strategic sourcing roadmaps, drive execution of commitments, and enhance dashboards and reporting to monitor performance against budgets. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and project-management capabilities are required to effectively manage multiple initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing
- Three or more years of experience managing marketing-related categories, including knowledge of creative, branding, production, media, and marketing technology suppliers, as well as related negotiations and contract management
- Ability to think strategically and align sourcing initiatives with business objectives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize and delegate work effectively
- Proven negotiation and supplier management capabilities
- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
