Manager- Procurement

Job Summary
Manager-Procurement role leading the strategic procurement function for MineSense. Responsible for defining and guiding the procurement strategy to support company and operations goals, ensuring supply continuity, inventory optimization, and cost effectiveness. Leads cross-functional alignment with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Field Services, and Finance; manages supplier relationships, performance reviews, risk mitigation, and opportunities to improve quality, lead times, and total cost. Establishes governance for procurement master data, supplier records, item data, purchasing parameters, and pricing. Contributes to team budget, forecasts, and spend priorities; uses data to inform decisions and communicate risks. Oversees procurement execution, including purchase order management, shortage response, supplier communications, and delivery commitments; improves processes, standards, and reporting; leads continuous improvement in inventory planning, master data integrity, supplier performance, ERP usage, and procurement controls. Partners with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance on demand/supply planning and new product introductions. Coaches and mentors team members, conducts performance evaluations, and collaborates with HR on recruitment and employee development. Requires strong communication skills in English; manufacturing/mining-adjacent experience preferred; alignment with MineSense values and a health and safety-conscious mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or similar
- 6+ years in procurement/supply chain roles
- 2-4+ years in people leadership
- Strong procurement operations knowledge
- ERP systems mastery

- Excel/Office 365
- English proficiency; Spanish an asset
- Legally able to work in Canada
