Job Summary
Manager, Power Generation leads North American propane power generation strategy, a hands-on, player-coach role that blends strategic leadership with direct revenue-generating activities. The role requires developing and executing the go-to-market plan, identifying market opportunities, and closing key opportunities while coaching a small team of Power Generation Specialists. The incumbent maintains a personal revenue pipeline, collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance, and represents the organization at key industry events. Strong CRM discipline, deal execution, and customer engagement are essential, along with the ability to travel to US/Canada locations and work in a hybrid remote-capable environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience in power generation and/or energy-related sales
- Strong familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Proven track record of personally driving revenue growth while leading teams
- Experience building and scaling new or emerging business segments preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated strength in negotiation, proposal development, and deal closure
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and produce high-quality reports, proposals, and documentation
- High level of ownership and autonomy, with strong decision-making, self-management, and client relationship management skills
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to travel in Canada and the United States
