Job Summary
Manager, Power Generation leads the North American propane power generation strategy as a hands-on, player-coach leader. The role blends strategic leadership with direct revenue generation, owning key opportunities, partnerships, and customer relationships while developing and guiding a small team of Power Generation Specialists. Responsibilities include shaping market expansion, identifying opportunities, maintaining a personal sales pipeline, coaching the team, and driving complex negotiations and commercial agreements. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Marketing, and Finance, a focus on go-to-market execution, and a track record of revenue growth. Travel to Canada and the United States is indicated, with a preference for candidates near office locations, and remote-work options considered for the right fit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a hybrid player-coach role
- 5+ years of experience in power generation and/or energy-related sales
- Strong familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and structured sales processes
- Proven track record of personally driving revenue growth while leading teams
- Experience building and scaling new or emerging business segments preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strength in negotiation and deal closure within commercial frameworks
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to travel in Canada and the United States
