Job Summary
Manager, Port Operations responsible for overseeing global port operations for company vessels. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and local authorities to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective in-port services; monitoring performance through KPIs and monthly financial reporting; managing contracts and SLAs; assisting in annual budgeting and expense reduction; planning vessel deployments and itineraries; developing relationships with local port communities; and representing the company in cross-functional, cross-region collaborations. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of management experience, with travel under 25% and an in-office role (Monday-Thursday) with Friday remote option. This role emphasizes budget oversight, vendor performance, and cross-functional leadership to drive operational success and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, logistics or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a management or leadership role with progressively more responsibility
- Prior experience in port-related management and/or marine operations, preferably passenger vessel operations
