Job Summary
Platform Engineer Manager leading complex integrations for Capital One APIs and partner ecosystems. Acts as primary technical interface for external developers, guiding integration lifecycle, reducing friction in production data flows, and driving strategic initiatives to expand services internationally. Requires ability to operate with ambiguity, dive deep to identify root causes, translate logs into actionable tasks, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and engineers. Strong focus on security, risk governance, and collaboration across internal and external teams; on-call responsibilities and incident coordination are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or military experience
- At least 4 years of work experience in client-facing professional services
- At least 4 years of experience in system integration technologies, standards & tools (RESTful APIs, Authentication methods, JSON, Postman, File Transfer protocols and Filezilla)
