Job Summary
Harden environments, enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards across cloud deployments. Architect, develop, and evolve CI/CD systems for AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms while writing Infrastructure as Code to automate application deployment. Design high-availability solutions, implement monitoring and alerting strategies, and optimize financial operations and infrastructure costs. Translate business requirements into simplified, compliant solutions and create reusable, secure artifacts that drive DevOps best practices. Manage risks associated with cloud deployments and prioritize modularity to support team accelerators and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hands on delivery of devops, platform engineering, solution design, cloud architecture & development
- Experience in designing, architecting, and deploying CI/CD systems for modern data analytics platforms and modern web applications in the cloud
- Skilled in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating application deployment using industry standard tools and services
- Hands on experience on designing, architecting and implementing security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and monitoring aspects of cloud solutions
- Competent in at least one popular programming language, such as Python or JavaScript
- Understanding of how to architect modern solutions in the cloud that are robust and scalable, striving for simplicity and low maintenance
- Experience of building robust modular CI/CD templates, that centralise and govern responsibility while always challenging raising the bar in quality for the development team
- Ability to justify and define best practices and standards, influencing the software development lifecycle policy
- Comfortable to be challenged by other architect/security teams and explain the merits of your proposal
- Hold or willing to obtain one of the below certifications or better: AWS Associate (Developer, Architect, SysOps), Azure Associate (Developer, Administration), GCP Associate (Cloud Engineer), Hashicorp: Terraform Associate

- Desire to support and help build internal development platforms and design systems to use as accelerators, using the developer teams as key stakeholders to drive and influence demand and prioritisation
