Job Summary
Lead and supervise the plant production function at Ball, overseeing safety, quality, and continuous improvement across a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment, implementing and upholding safety programs, driving food/quality safety system improvements, managing standard operating procedures, ensuring environmental compliance, and fostering productive relationships with employees and the union when applicable. The role directs production activities, drives cost-reduction initiatives, coordinates SOP adherence, and ensures timely reporting and documentation, with regular on-site presence in Goodyear, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
- 4+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal and written) in a clear, concise and tactful manner to all levels of personnel
- Proficiency with standard office software (such as MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook)
