Job Summary
Manager, Plant/Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Line Maintenance leads and oversees GSE Supervisors and Maintenance Operations at the station, coordinates with union representatives, ensures safety/compliance, monitors preventive maintenance and in-service rates, reviews aircraft damage investigations for root-cause resolution, supports inventory and parts allocation, ensures tooling and training needs are met, and collaborates with management to meet departmental budget goals; requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent GSE experience, 5 years in area of responsibility, 3 years of supervisory experience in a union environment, and knowledge of GSE/heavy equipment maintenance, with proficiency in standard software tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent GSE mechanical experience/training
- 5 years' experience in area of responsibility
- 3 years' experience managing, supervising and/or directing workgroups in a union environment
- Automotive, ground support equipment (GSE) or heavy equipment operations experience in production along with parts procurement as a manager, supervisor, or lead mechanic
