Job Summary
Direct the Planned Giving operational calendar and coordinate the execution of gift annuity state filings and compliance schedules. Oversee the tracking system for estate and life income gifts, preparing booking forms and ensuring data integrity within the CRM. Serve as the operational liaison to Advancement Services, Finance, and external partners, leading audit preparations and synthesizing reports for leadership and regulatory bodies. Manage specialized logistics for executive signature-authority items and notary services, while training and supervising student staff. Stay current on government regulations and industry guidelines, occasionally working outside standard business hours including weekends and evenings. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in-office weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of related experience, preferably in an academic setting
- Familiarity with planned giving industry and CASE standards, and government regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Ability to organize work and follow through on details
- Ability to occasionally work outside of standard business hours including some weekends and evenings
- Must meet the department's core values of collaboration, aspiration, transparency, respect, accountability, and trust
- Minimum of 3 days in-office weekly
- Presence in the office during busy periods, full staff meetings, and events
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a fundraising database (Salesforce preferred, but not required)
- Experience in an advancement setting within higher education
