Job Summary
Manage end-to-end materials planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics for the Varennes transformer manufacturing facility. Lead the factory’s Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating forecasts into balanced, executable production plans while accounting for functional constraints and long-range requirements. Drive continuous improvement to improve material availability, inventory accuracy, operational performance, and delivery reliability. Oversee master planning, detailed scheduling, capacity management, and execution across production lines; direct inventory and warehouse operations; manage inbound/outbound logistics; and implement improvements such as root-cause/countermeasure activities and Kaizen initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines. Your background includes authorization to work in Canada, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (or equivalent), 5+ years in a similar role, 10+ years manufacturing experience, ERP experience (PP module preferred), Excel proficiency, cross-functional collaboration, independent work style, and strong communication and customer/quality focus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- At least 10 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably in an PP module
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global value chain
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Autonomous with root-cause problem-solving and priority management
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer- and quality-focused mindset
