Job Summary
Recruit, lead, train, and develop a staff including assistant managers, front desk employees, and fitness trainers while managing daily club operations. Address all employee and member issues respectfully and timely, ensuring compliance with Ignite Fitness and Planet Fitness brand standards. Drive revenue growth by increasing membership, EFT per member, and retail sales while controlling labor budgets and reducing attrition. Lead field marketing and corporate sales efforts through local events and community partnerships. Monitor performance metrics, oversee payroll and scheduling, and conduct regular self-audit inspections to maintain operational excellence. Occasionally assist other locations or attend offsite community events as business needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
- A career path that reflects increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general technology (i.e., computers, phone systems)
- You understand working weekend shifts is expected at times depending on staffing, performance, and other business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of management preferred
- Experience in a multi-unit organization a plus
