Job Summary
Lead a team dedicated to delivering financial results through best-in-class member and team member experiences. Recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train, and develop staff including Assistant Managers, Front Desk employees, and Fitness Trainers. Address all issues involving employees and members in an appropriate, respectful, and timely manner. Promote a superior customer experience by maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment. Ensure self and all employees are trained on Ignite Fitness & PFHQ initiatives, including proper tours, info calls, cleanliness expectations, and handling member concerns. Drive revenue growth and profitability by increasing membership and EFT per member, reducing attrition, managing bad debt, and growing retail sales. Lead Field marketing and Corporate sales efforts by attending local events and developing partnerships. Set, communicate, and track performance across all key operational metrics. Monitor payroll, scheduling, and budgeted hours while ensuring compliance with all policies and brand standards. Occasionally assist other locations and attend offsite community events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
- A career path that reflects increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general technology (i.e., computers, phone systems)
- You understand working weekend shifts is expected at times depending on staffing, performance, and other business needs
