Manager, Philanthropy Coordination

Job Summary
Lead cross-functional philanthropy initiatives and coordinate strategy across Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, Executive Office, Public Affairs, and Programs to advance donor engagement, thought leadership opportunities, and fundraising outcomes. This role involves facilitating meetings, driving consensus among stakeholders, project managing initiatives, coordinating cross-division efforts, and designing integrated approaches for key moments and events (e.g., UNGA, World Economic Forum, polio eradication, and International Women’s Day) to maximize impact for UNICEF USA’s mission. The position requires strategic, creative, and analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership across multiple teams to deliver measurable results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising, project management, communications, or related fields
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and navigate change
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically with a desire to innovate
- Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills
- Client-service mindset and strong relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (BBCRM preferred)
- Familiarity with full-funnel and inclusive philanthropy preferred
- Commitment to UNICEF USA’s mission; international development or humanitarian experience a plus
